Hyderabad: The Green India Challenge, an initiative of Member of Parliament Santosh Kumar, has now reached Japan with Ambassador of India to Japan, Sanjay Kumar Verma, planting saplings at Kohana International School, Yokohama.
Speaking to the students, the Ambassador highlighted the need for commitments to the greener world.
The event was organised by Rajgroup, Nirvanam and Neha N Technologies and hosted by KIS.
Expressing his happiness, Santosh Kumar lauded the efforts of Verma. “Overwhelmed that the Indian Mission in Japan embraced our Green India Challenge. All thanks to Sanjay Kumar, Ambassador to Japan has planted saplings in Tokyo. We are humbled for taking this initiative to the global level,” he said.
