GRMB Chairman Pandey inspects Nizamsagar Project
                GRMB Chairman BP Pandey visited the Nizamsagar project in Telangana as part of the nationwide "Swachhata Hi Seva" and "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaigns. He reviewed maintenance works, advocated for improved water management, and led a cleanliness drive.

Hyderabad: Chairman of the Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) BP Pandey on Friday visited the Nizamsagar project as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign and “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A tree in mother’s name) initiatives.
During the inspection, Pandey examined various aspects of project maintenance. He also called for a cleanliness drive in the surrounding areas of the project and efficient water management practices.
                            
                
    
He urged the project officials to ensure effective involvement in the implementation of cleanliness initiatives. “These campaigns are not just events. They are a call to action for every citizen to contribute to a cleaner and greener India,” Pandey said.
He participated in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” drive by planting saplings near the project. He urged everyone to plant at least one tree in honour of their mother and take responsibility for its protection.
