Hyderabad: Telangana Transmission Corporation Limited (TGTRANSCO) has successfully restored power supply to affected areas after heavy rains due to the Cyclone Montha damaged the transmission infrastructure at two key substations in the state.
The Chairman and Managing Director of TGTRANSCO D Krishna Bhaskar, reviewed restoration efforts following water ingress at the 132 KV KM Pally substation in Nalgonda District, where equipment including feeder bays, isolators and AB switches had been submerged. Technical teams immediately arranged alternate supply from other substations and took two feeders out of service through manual circuit breaker tripping.
