Hyderabad: Filmmaker Gunasekhar, renowned for his unique storytelling and hit films, is currently busy with a new youthful social drama titled ‘Euphoria’. The film is an edgy-and-fast-paced take on contemporary evils, and it has raised curiosity ever since it was announced.

The shooting of the film, which reflects today’s society, has recently been completed. The makers have shared this update on social media, stating that the shoot for ‘Euphoria’ is finished and post-production is currently progressing at a fast pace.

Guna Teamworks, the production house producing the film, took to its X timeline to make the announcement. “And it’s a wrap for #EuphoriaTheFilm. A raw and soul-stirring cinematic experience awaits you all. More updates coming soon! (sic)” the makers wrote.

The film, the story of which is believed to focus on crimes against women, has triggered huge interest as actor Bhumika Chawla and director Gunasekhar are working together again after almost two decades.

The video ended with a shot that showed people protesting against rape culture and girls holding up a slogan that read, “Enough is Enough. We can, we shall, we will.”

A making video has just been released on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. Glimpses of the shoot BTS promises an intriguing thriller and garnered a positive response. The film’s team has now begun post-production work, and the movie is expected to be released soon.

Vignesh Gavireddy is making his Telugu cinema debut with this film, while senior actor Bhumika Chawla will play a key role. The film also stars an ensemble cast, including Sara Arjun, Nassar, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likhita Yalamanchili, Addala Prudhviraj, Kalpa Latha, Sai Srinika Reddy, Ashrita Vemuganti, Mathew Varghese, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveena Reddy, Likith Naidu, and others in key roles.

‘Euphoria’ is being produced by Neelima Guna under the banner of Guna Handmade Films. The film is presented by Ragini Guna, with Praveen K Pothan handling cinematography and Prawin Pudi overseeing the editing. The young musical sensation Kaala Bhairava is scoring the music for the film.
