Gunners Soldierathon 2026 to be held at Artillery Centre, Golconda on September 27
Fitistan will host the second edition of the Gunners Soldierathon at the Artillery Centre, Golconda, on September 27. The event will mark 200 years of the Regiment of Artillery and feature half marathon, running, walking and celebration categories.

Hyderabad: Fitistan, a fitness community driven by passion and purpose, has announced the Gunners Soldierathon, which will take place on September 27 at the Artillery Centre, Golconda. This is the second edition of the Gunners Soldierathon, which is part of the wider Soldierathon movement.
This year’s event carries significance as it marks 200 years of the Regiment of Artillery, recognising the courage, commitment and sacrifice of its Gunners through the spirit of sport and endurance.
Participants will run alongside friends, family members, colleagues and fellow fitness enthusiasts, while paying tribute to the contribution and sacrifices of the Armed Forces and generations of Gunners.
The race includes a 21.0975 km Half Marathon, 10 km Run, 5 km Run/Walk, 1 km Gunners Day Celebration Walk and Cheer Buddy category. The half marathon is open to participants aged 18 and above, the 10 km to those aged 12 and above, and the 5 km to participants aged 10 and above. The 1 km celebration walk is open to participants aged three years and above, including specially-abled participants.
Fitistan founder and former special forces Major Dr Surendra Poonia said the event is about remembering those who served, celebrating those who continue to serve and inspiring the next generation to embrace the values of discipline, resilience and service.
