Guntur’s Gadde Harish selected for Indian U-18 Kabaddi Team for Asian Youth Games
Gadde Harish from Guntur has been selected for the Indian Under-18 Kabaddi Team to compete at the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain from October 22–31. He previously won bronze at the Khelo India Youth Nationals.
HYDERABAD: Gadde Harish, son of Sri Pedda Narasaiah and a native of Papannapalem, residing in Guntur, has been selected to represent the Indian Kabaddi Team (Under-18) at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, scheduled to be held in Bahrain from October 22 to 31.
Earlier, Harish represented the Andhra Pradesh State team and participated in the Junior National Kabaddi Championships on four occasions. He also brought laurels by securing a Bronze Medal in the Khelo India Youth National Kabaddi Championship.
His exceptional performance in the Under-18 Junior Nationals at Haridwar earned him a place in the Indian squad for the upcoming Asian Youth Games.
KV Prabhavathi (President), N Arjuna Rao (Working President), and Sri Srikanth Yalamanchili (General Secretary) of the Andhra Kabaddi Association congratulated Harish and conveyed their best wishes for him to bring home the Gold Medal for India.
