Warangal: The Task Force police raided a Kirana shop owned by Vemshetty Vishwanadam at Shivanagar in Warangal under the limits of Mills’ Colony PS and arrested him for selling banned tobacco products and seized gutka worth Rs 3,01,200 from his possession.
“On interrogation, Vishwanadham confessed that he was buying tobacco products from Guntoor Somaiah of Kesamudram, Lenkelapelly Srinivas and Padigula Venkanna of Mahabubabad. We seized the gutka and arrested the accused and handed him over to Mills’ colony police for further action,” said a press note by the Task Force.
