H-FAST cracks down on food adulteration in Hyderabad
Hyderabad police’s H-FAST team arrested 64 persons in 61 cases related to food adulteration in one month, seizing 15 tonnes of products. Commissioner V C Sajjanar warned of strict action, calling adulteration a serious threat to public health.

Hyderabad: The ‘H-FAST’ team, formed to crack down on food adulteration networks in the city with the assistance of local police, arrested 64 persons in the last one month in 61 cases. A total of 15 tonnes of adulterated products were seized during the raids.
Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V C Sajjanar said that there will be zero tolerance for those who gamble with innocent lives for profit. “Food adulteration is not just a crime. It is a silent, deadly attack on every household. The fight for a society free from adulteration and for safe, trustworthy food will only intensify,” warned Sajjanar.
