Hyderabad: Ride sharing platform Hala Mobility has handed over 20 electric scooters to the Cyberabad Police. The firm’s co-founder Anand Pareek handed over the scooters to Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar.
The scooters are meant for frontline police personnel, Pareek said, adding that the police could use it without rental for three months, with the service to continue further depending upon the requirement.
The scooters can run for 50km at a speed of 25 kmph after charging for three hours. The firm had earlier given three scooters to the Madhapur police station and also to the Gachibowli police.
