Half-day for Telangana schools from March 15 to April 23

Special classes to continue for preparing Class X students for SSC Public Examination, schools which have SSC examination centres to function from 1 pm to 5 pm

Half-day for Telangana schools from March 15 to April 23

Hyderabad: All schools in Telangana will function half-day starting March 15 and till the last working day for the academic year i.e., April 23.

The School Education Department, in a notification issued here on Thursday, has informed Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers that primary, upper primary and high schools under all managements i.e., government, government-aided and private managements, will function from 8 am to 12.30 pm.

Mid-day meals will be served at 12.30 pm.

Special classes will continue for preparing Class X students for the SSC Public Examination and the schools, which have SSC examination centres, will function from 1 pm to 5 pm.

The Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State have been directed to communicate the orders to the schools functioning under all managements and monitor the implementation.
