Hyderabad: Ahead of the ACB questioning BRS working president KT Rama Rao in the Formula-E case, the police have placed several top leaders under house arrest. Former Minister T Harish Rao and MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy are among those who were placed under house arrest.
Sources said the BRS leaders were detained at their homes anticipating trouble, ahead of the ACB interrogation. They have already questioned senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar and HMDA official BLN Reddy in the case.
The BRS working president was summoned by the ACB office on Monday and he promptly reached the ACB office. However, he was not allowed inside after he insisted on allowing his lawyers to accompany him. He was summoned for questioning once again on Thursday. The Telangana High Court ordered the ACB to question Rama Rao under the watch of his lawyer in the case.
