Hyderabad: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday accepted the people’s verdict in favour of BJP in the Dubbak bypoll and took complete responsibility for TRS party’s loss. He thanked the people who voted for TRS and also party activists who strived hard during the campaign.

Speaking to mediapersons, Harish Rao said despite losing the by-election, the TRS government and he himself will continue to serve people of Dubbak Assembly constituency and play a key role in its development under the leadership of TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He said the TRS government will continue with its welfare schemes and developmental programmes with renewed vigour. “The party will soon review the reasons for its failure and take corrective measures,” he added.
