Warangal: Stating that the BRS silver jubilee celebration in Warangal would be a historic moment for Telangana state, BRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao said on Saturday that the turnout of crowds could be more than the expected. He wanted the party rank and file to be vigilant and beat back attempts to block the roads.

Addressing media persons at the venue of the Sunday’s massive public meeting, he said the rally was expected to draw massive crowds and reaffirm the party’s dedication to Telangana’s transformation. He emphasised that the event was meant for demonstrating the commitment of the party to the state’s progress and to showcase its transformation achieved during it regime.

He said that the event was not just a milestone but a testament to the BRS’s enduring impact on the region. Large numbers of people and activists were arriving. They all were bound for Warangal by bullock carts, vehicles, bicycles, and on foot. They were eager to see BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao and listen to him addressing the rally. The BRS silver jubilee would be a festival day for the people of Telangana.

Telangana, once a hub of droughts and suicides in the undivided state, was transformed into a prosperous land by K Chandrashekhar Rao triggering a reverse migration. Whether in power or opposition, the party rank and file had worked hard for the people. Ever section facing hardships was looking once again to BRS and K. Chandrashekhar Rao.

The yawning gap between the promises made by the Congress leadership and their implementation had made the people realise. The Congress could launch no new schemes, but the existing schemes have been stopped. Scholarships, Bathukamma sarees, and KCR kits have been stopped. Congress has become a government without a proper direction.

Farmers in the state were looking towards K Chandrashekhar Rao leadership. The Congress government had failed to repair even the irrigation systems. As a result the standing crops were left withering. Despite the availability of adequate water in Krishna, the Congress government had failed to help the farmers and save their crops.

The BRS government is undoubtedly coming back to power in the state, he said, urging the party activists, workers, people, women, farmers, and students to take part in public meetings. He alleged that the government was trying to disrupt the meeting . He appealed to everyone to ensure reef traffic flow, so that the partymen would be able to reach the venue in time.
