Siddipet: Hyderabad-based businessman Tirumal Reddy has handed over Rs 2 lakh to Sathvika, a Class 7 student from Siddipet. The amount was handed over by former Minister T Harish Rao on Friday.
The story of Sathvika went viral on social media as Harish Rao turned emotional while listening to the hardships faced by her and her mother after the untimely demise of the girl’s father a year ago.
Harish Rao also hosted Sathvika and her mother for breakfast at his residence on Friday. He also assured Sathvika that he would extend all support to her until she completes her education.
