Harish Rao donates Rs 1 lakh to Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Siddipet

The BRS leader urges temple management to make grand arrangements as part of golden jubilee celebrations

Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao donated Rs 1 lakh towards golden jubilee celebrations of the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Siddipet on Wednesday.

Since the temple was constructed about 50 years ago, Harish Rao called up the temple management to plan for grand celebrations of the festivities this year. He said the people who made contributions for the temple’s development must be honoured during the celebrations.

Earlier, Rao offered silk vastrams to the presiding deity of Sri Uma Pardhiva Kotilingala temple. He also offered special prayers on the occasion. Rao also visited many temples across his constituency and offered prayers at Shaivite temples and greeted the devotees.
