A Hyderabad devotee donated over Rs 1 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’ Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust in Tirupati, supporting free treatment for critical illnesses at the Sri Venkateswara Temple

The TTD on Wednesday received a ₹1 crore donation from a Tamil Nadu devotee for the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust, which offers free medical care for life-threatening illnesses. The temple body also received two car donations worth ₹19 lakh.

A US-based devotee, M. Ramalinga Raju, donated ₹9 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for renovating the PAC-1, PAC-2 and PAC-3 buildings. TTD chairman B.R. Naidu lauded the gesture, recalling Raju’s earlier ₹16-crore donation in 2012.
