HCA Acting President convenes AGM on July 19
The agenda for the meeting is the appointment of Ombudsman as per Rule 40 of the HCA Memorandum Rules and Regulations and also the appointment of the Ethics Officer in accordance with Rule 39 of the HCA Memorandum Rules and Regulations
HYDERABAD: The acting President of Hyderabad Cricket Association, Sardar Daljeet Singh, has sent a communication to all the affiliated members of the HCA stating that the adjourned Annual General Meeting of the HCA (in continuation of the 87th AGM held on June 29, 2025) will be held on July 19 at 10.30 am at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium (Uppal) here.
The agenda for the meeting is the appointment of Ombudsman as per Rule 40 of the HCA Memorandum Rules and Regulations and also the appointment of the Ethics Officer in accordance with Rule 39 of the HCA Memorandum Rules and Regulations, according to a copy of the notice available with ‘Telangana Today’.
“The adjourned meeting shall take place to ensure statutory compliance and good governance. All the members are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting,” Daljeet said in the letter to the members.
It will be interesting to see whether there will be any discussion on the on-going criminal proceedings against some of the top brass of the HCA Apex Council including the President, the Secretary, Treasurer and the ormer CEO and also whether any majority opinion will be sought in this regard to initiating a procedure to look for permanent options in their place within the framework of HCA Constitution.
