Hyderabad: Heartfulness Institute is set to attempt yet another world record this International Yoga Day at the Heartfulness Headquarters at Kanha Shanti Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

The world record will be attempted under the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for ‘Maximum Languages Used in a Live-Streamed Yoga Session Simultaneously’.

The Common Yoga Protocol, a standardised 45-minute yoga sequence recommended by India’s Ministry of AYUSH, will be guided in 25 languages (13 Indian languages and 12 international languages) across 13 time zone-staggered streams, demonstrating yoga’s unique ability to unite people across cultures, countries and traditions. It will be led by trained Heartfulness instructors, creating an unprecedented multilingual wellness experience.

The event will take place at the respective local times, followed by felicitations. Dr Vasudha Rani, Adjudicator, Asia Book of Records, will conduct the felicitations. The Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records teams at the venue, along with key Heartfulness volunteers and practitioners, will be present during the event.

Around a thousand participants, including 300 Agniveer members, are slated to join the International Yoga Day event from the venue, while participation is welcome virtually from any part of the world in this free yoga event.
