Heavy security at Telangana Assembly ahead of Budget Session
The Telangana Assembly in Hyderabad is set to begin its budget session today at 11.45 am, with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla addressing a joint sitting of both Houses. The House is expected to adjourn after his speech.

Hyderabad: Heavy police security has been deployed around the State Assembly in Nampally, ahead of the commencement of the budget session on Monday.
The Assembly proceedings are scheduled to begin at 11.45 am, with the Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla addressing the joint sitting of both Houses on the first day.
The House is expected to be adjourned after the Governor’s address.
Meanwhile, Left parties have called for protests and a march towards the Assembly, demanding that several public issues be taken up for discussion during the session.
In view of the protest call, the police have stepped up security measures around the Assembly premises and have also carried out preventive arrests to prevent any untoward incidents.
