Ram Charan and Buchi Babu are teaming up for the first time for Peddi, a rural sports action drama.
Hyderabad: Actor Ram Charan recently celebrated his 40th birthday. On this occasion, he and his wife, Upasana Konidela, sent a thoughtful gift to the film’s director, Buchi Babu Sana.
The gift set included Lord Sri Ram’s Padukas, a personalised travel kit, a hand-painted Cheriyal Hanuman mask, a Hanuman Chalisa symbolising him sharing a piece of his strength with the director, and a heartfelt appreciation letter. Buchi Babu shared his gratitude on social media, thanking the couple for their love and support. He wrote that Ram Charan’s values inspire him to stay grounded and humble.

Ram Charan and Buchi Babu are teaming up for the first time for Peddi, a rural sports action drama.
Buchi Babu Sana gained immense recognition through his first directorial venture, Uppena, which turned out to be a massive blockbuster.
Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead. The film also stars Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The music is composed by AR Rahman.
The first glimpse of the film will be released on April 6.
