Hyderabad: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) sleuths on Monday seized 3.2 kilograms of heroin worth around Rs 21 crore, from a Zambian woman at the RGI Airport Shamshabad. The woman passenger arrived from Zambia via Johannesburg and Doha to Hyderabad.
“On checking, the officials found the woman was carrying a white powder. Further checks revealed that the substance tested positive for heroine,” said the DRI officials. While checking her baggage, the DRI officials found the white powder, which on testing turned out to be heroine. A case has been booked.
