Nalgonda: Telangana Rythu Bandhu Samithi president and TRS candidate for Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates MLC constituency Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Wednesday said graduate voters had created history in the country by recording a 77 per cent turnout in the MLC elections.
Speaking to the media at the counting centre of graduates MLC elections set up in a godown of State Warehouse Corporation at Arjala Bavi on the outskirts of Nalgonda, Rajeshwar Reddy said the democratic spirit was strengthened in Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates MLC election through a whopping poll percentage. The Election Commission too had made arrangements to ensure free and fair polling in the graduates MLC elections and has taken up counting of votes in the same spirit, he said.
He said Telangana would see good days in the near future and the State would witness further rapid development. He thanked TRS leaders and graduates who campaigned for him in the elections.
