Hyderabad: Himalaya Wellness on Sunday announced collaboration with badminton player, PV Sindhu who will spread awareness about cleft lip medical condition and ensure more children are identified at the right time for life changing treatment, which will be given free of cost.
She will also address broader health challenges faced by children with cleft conditions, such as difficulties in getting proper nutrition, speech, and overall development.
The Wellness company said that since 2016, through its Muskaan initiative, has facilitated over 2,000 free cleft lip surgeries of as many children drawn from over 600 districts in India, a press release said.
“Confidence shapes a child’s future. It gives them the courage to chase their dreams and face the world without hesitation. Every child deserves that strength, and access to cleft care plays a vital role in ensuring they can grow up without limitations,” Sindhu said.
