Grand “Sri Bhu Lakshmi Narasimha Pratishta Mahotsavam & Kalyanotsavam” at Hare Krishna Golden Temple.
Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Movement (HKM), Hyderabad organised four-day Bhu Lakshmi Narasimha Utsava Vigraha Pratishta Mahotsavam (deity installation) at its Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills.
The festival consisting of various religious ceremonies, vedic rituals, homams, sevas, aradhanas and archanas concluded on Monday with a grand first Kalyanotsavam to the newly consecrated deities of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
The pratishta event started with ankurarpana on Friday followed by vastu homa and included traditional vedic rituals like Murthy Kumbha Avahana, Kshira Adhivasam and Panchagavya Adhivasam. On Sunday, Nitya Homam followed by Netronmilanam and Abhishekam with Nava Kalashas filled with sacred waters, panchamritas, panchagavya, fruit juices, rare herbal powders, flowers etc, were performed. The concluding rituals on Monday started with Nitya Homam followed by Maha Purnahuti i.e. offering of oblations to the Yagna and Pradakshina of the Yagna sthala by devotees, a press release said.
The visiting devotees were given opportunity to perform Unjal Seva and seek blessings. The president, HKM, Hyderabad, Satya Guara Chandra Dasa said “Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Sri Radha Govinda shall certainly bless the people of Telangana with peace, prosperity, health and good fortune.”
