Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao said Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), which covers seven districts, plays a crucial role in development.
New plans should be formulated with foresight and works should be executed accordingly, the Minister, who visited the HMDA office in Ameerpet for the first time on Friday, said.
MAUD Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar briefed the Minister about HMDA’s action plans. The Minister reviewed the progress of works being executed by the engineering, planning and urban forestry wings and gave a few instructions to the officials, said a press release.
