Hyderabad: Continuing the special drive against unauthorised constructions, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) along with District Task Forces and Urban Local Bodies under the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration on Tuesday demolished five structures in Pedda Amberpet Municipality and slabs of a structure in Nizampet Municipal Corporation.
The HMDA in a press release said that a person obtained permission to build a two-storied structure in Pragathi Nagar, Nizampet but deviated from the building plan by construing a five-floor building, following which the slabs of the three illegal floors were razed. Since the drive commenced in January, action has been initiated on 178 structures.
