HMWSSB launches ‘Basthi Bata’ programme to improve water, sewerage services
HMWSSB will launch the ‘Basthi Bata’ programme from Friday to improve water supply and sewage management in Hyderabad’s core urban areas. Officials will visit colonies and slums on select days and be available at offices to address public concerns.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) will launch a ‘Basthi Bata’ programme from Friday to ensure efficient water and sewerage services.
According to a press release, with the expansion of the water board’s jurisdiction to the core urban region, the programme will identify and address water and sewage services involving participation from the Managing Director to Managers concerned. Officials will visit slums and residential colonies every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 am to 10 am and from 2 pm will be available at the offices.
