Home guard killed after jeep collides with bike in Nirmal
A home guard working at the Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devasthanam in Basar was killed on the spot after a jeep hit his two-wheeler on Friday. Police suspect rash driving and have registered a case against the driver.
Nirmal: A home guard was killed on the spot when a jeep dashed against his two-wheeler in Basar town on Friday.
Police said that Ramana, a home guard working with Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devasthanam of Basar received serious head injuries and died instantly.
He is a resident of Pardi (B) village in Kubheer mandal. He has been discharging duties at the temple for quite a long time.
Police suspected that rash and negligent driving of the jeep driver might have caused the mishap. A case was registered against the driver. Investigations were taken up.
