Nirmal: Home guards play a vital role in protection of law and order, said Additional Superintendent of Police A Ram Reddy at a programme held to mark Home Guards Raising Day observed here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Reddy opined that home guards would render duties on par with the policemen. He stated that they were discharging selfless services. He assured to address challenges of home guards by discussing with the district’s Superintendent of Police. He acknowledged that they extended their support in conducting polls to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Nirmal DSP Upender Reddy, Nirmal Inspector Srinivas, Reserve Inspectors Venkati and Krishna, Home Guard Reserve Inspector Amjad Pasha and many others were present.
