Hyderabad: Alleging that the hostel warden recorded girls’ private videos, students of an engineering college in Ghatkesar staged a protest on the college premises here on Friday.
According to students, a few of them noticed the warden recording private videos of the girls and checked the phone to confirm it.
They were shocked to see several private videos recorded on the phone, besides the content being allegedly shared with others as well.
Tension prevailed on the college premises as a large number of students squatted in front of the college administrative building demanding strict action against the warden.
The local police, who reached the college, tried to pacify protesters who wanted the culprits arrested.
The students were assured of a thorough investigation and the arrest of those behind the videos.
