A 43-year-old woman died of a heart attack while attending a housewarming ceremony in Khammam on Monday. She collapsed while posing for photographs with relatives and was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared her dead
Khammam: A housewarming ceremony in Khammam on Monday turned tragic as one of the guests died of a heart attack.
The guest, Bomma Susmitha (43), of the Three Town area had gone to attend the ceremony at her relative’s home in the Puttakota locality in the city. She collapsed while posing for photographs with relatives during the event.
Her relatives rushed her to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that Susmitha died of a heart attack. Susmitha is survived by her husband and son. A video of the incident is being widely shared on social media.
