Housewife commits suicide at Asifnagar over health issues

A 38-year-old housewife, G Jyothi, committed suicide at her Asifnagar home reportedly due to prolonged health issues and depression. Police have registered a case. She lived with her husband and two daughters in Amannagar colony

Hyderabad: A housewife died by suicide at her house in Asifnagar over health issues on Sunday.

The woman, G Jyothi (38), lived along with her husband and two daughters at Amannagar colony, Asifnagar. For a few years, she was having health-related issues and undergoing treatment.

“The woman slipped into depression over it and is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan in her room on Sunday morning,” said Asifnagar sub-inspector E Tulasi. A case is registered.
