HUDCO and Franklin Templeton partner with Akshaya Patra, sponsor EVs, kitchen equipment worth Rs 88 lakh
Akshaya Patra foundation also received a new meal distribution vehicle, expected to transport approximately 2,500 meals daily
Hyderabad: The Akshaya Patra Foundation on Friday announced a partnership with HUDCO and Franklin Templeton Services (India) Private Limited. HUDCO has extended its support to the Foundation by sponsoring state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and electric vehicles valued at Rs 88 lakh.
The equipment and material was handed over in the presence of PV Reddy, executive director, HUDCO, Telangana in the presence of other senior officials.
The foundation also received a new meal distribution vehicle, which is expected to transport approximately 2,500 meals daily, ensuring that over 5,80,000 meals reach school children across Hyderabad each year, sponsored by Franklin Templeton India.
Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, trustee and president, Akshaya Patra Foundation, TS and AP, said, “These new vehicles and kitchen equipment will significantly enhance our ability to deliver meals efficiently, supporting our goal of promoting well-being and education across communities.”
