Human Library programme organised virtually at Nacharam DPS

Hyderabad: It is rightly said “Every human is a library” and this was the precise idea, when this initiative was taken up by Delhi Public School Nacharam, since its formulation from the year 2016. The Human Library programme was organised on July 31 this year on the virtual mode.
The eminent guests for the occasion included people from various walks of life ranging from scientists, entrepreneurs, Navy Commanders, Olympic athlete and a member of the United Nations Development Programme to name a few.
Principal Sunita Rao welcomed the esteemed guests during the inauguration and shared the objectives behind the initiative one being that it encourages children to take inspiration from renowned personalities. She also encouraged students to participate zealously in the programme.
The sessions began with a prayer song and welcome speech followed by the address of the Human Library guest for the day. The guests answered numerous questions raised by the participating students and cleared any doubts they had.
The sessions concluded with a vote of thanks by the students. The students were indeed enriched with the life stories and journey of these esteemed people who had braved all odds to become successful in life.
