Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Thursday said Huzurabad and Jammikunta municipalities would be developed on all fronts.

The Minister, interacting with TRS councillors from the Huzurabad municipality at his camp office here, enquired with them about the party position in the Huzurabad constituency and pending developmental works. He promised to sanction new works after discussing them with Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao.

Stating that he, along with Rama Rao, would tour the municipality soon, he assured them that the government would speed up developmental works in the segment. Kamalakar also spoke with the Commissioners and Assistant Engineers of the two municipalities over the phone and enquired about pending works. He also instructed officials to give the details of pending works in the Huzurabad and Jammikunta municipalities.

Reiterating that the TRS is strong in the Huzurabad constituency and that it is not possible for anyone to split the party, the Minister assured the cadres that the party would stand by them. He asked party workers to contact him at any time over the phone. The Minister urged the cadre to support the party as well as Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and said committed workers would get opportunities in the coming days, he added.
