Hyderabad: 14 drug addicts opt for rehabilitation: TGANB

The next 30 days in rehabilitation will be a crucial turning point, offering them a real chance at recovery, say TGANB officials

Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) officials said all the 14 persons including women who were recently caught on charges of consuming drugs have voluntarily opted for treatment at government-recognised de-addiction centres.

They sought immunity from prosecution by choosing the path of rehabilitation over punishment, under Section 64-A of the NDPS Act.
