Hyderabad: 24-year-old woman dies by suicide in Malakpet
A 24-year-old woman in Malakpet died by suicide on Friday night, allegedly due to harassment by a man named Raju. Her family discovered her hanging at home in Moosarambagh. Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against the accused.
Hyderabad: A 24-year-old woman died by suicide at her house in Malakpet on Friday night, allegedly due to harassment by a man.
According to the police, the woman lived with her parents at Moosarambagh in the city. “For a few days, a man named Raju was calling the victim from different phone numbers and harassing her,” said Malakpet sub-inspector Sanjeeva Reddy.
On Friday, the woman went into a room in her house and hanged herself from the ceiling fan. The family members later noticed her and informed 108 ambulance. The doctors, after examination, pronounced the woman dead. A case of abetment to suicide is registered against Raju.
