Hyderabad: 4-year-old girl dies after man hits her head with beer bottle

Riya Kumari, a four-year-old girl, was playing near a construction site when the suspect, identified as Hemraj, struck her on the head with a beer bottle. She sustained severe head injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries later that night while receiving treatment.

Hyderabad: A four year old girl died after a man suspected to be suffering from mental health issues attacked her with a liquor bottle at Pocharam in city suburbs on Saturday .

The girl, Riya Kumari was playing on the road near a construction site when the suspect identified as Hemraj attacked the girl with a beer bottle on head. The child suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to hospital where she died while undergoing treatment later in the night.

Hemraj, was caught by the public and thrashed before being handed over to the police.

The parents of the victim girl work as construction workers and took the child along with them to the work site where the incident took place.

The attacker was admitted at Gandhi Hospital by the police for treatment as he was badly beaten up by the public.
