Hyderabad: 45-year-old woman robbed, hacked to death in Vikarabad

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old woman was robbed and hacked to death by unidentified persons at Karankote, in Tandur of Vikarabad district, on Sunday.
The woman, Padmaamma, was at home when the assailants attacked her using sharp-edged weapons and fled after collecting gold ornaments.
On information, the Karankote police reached the spot and started an investigation. The police summoned a dog squad to track down the assailants.
The police are conducting inquiries with the local people about the movement of strangers in the area. A case is registered.
