A 45-year-old woman named Padmaamma was robbed and killed at her home in Karankote, Tandur, Vikarabad district. Unknown assailants attacked her with sharp weapons and stole gold ornaments. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation

The incident came to light only on Monday after the Gujarat police arrested a man who had allegedly killed the woman.

Unidentified persons had entered the house and killed her. The offenders later took away some ornaments worn by the woman, say police officials
