Hyderabad: ACB nabs two Revenue officials while accepting bribe

The officials Y Danaiah, Administrative Officer at Tandur RDO office, Vikarabad and Manik Rao, Senior Assistant at Tandur RDO office had allegedly demanded Rs. 5 lakh from a person.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths on Monday caught two officials of Revenue Divisional Office, Tandur red handed when they demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs. 5 lakh from a man.

The officials Y Danaiah, Administrative Officer at Tandur RDO office, Vikarabad and Manik Rao, Senior Assistant at Tandur RDO office had allegedly demanded Rs. 5 lakh from a person.

The graft was demanded “for changing the nature of the land of the complainant to an extent of 6.26 guntas in Dudyala village and mandal from LF Road to patta land,” said ACB officials.

Both the officials are arrested and being produced before the court concerned.
