Hyderabad: Afzalgunj police arrest bike thief, recover five stolen motorcycles
Afzalgunj police arrested 29-year-old Kurva Naresh for stealing a motorcycle from Osmania Hospital’s parking lot. He later admitted to stealing five bikes in total. Police recovered all five vehicles, produced him before court, and secured his remand
Hyderabad: The Afzalgunj police on Monday arrested a bike thief and recovered five motorcycles from him.
According to N Ravi, SHO of Afzalgunj police station, the suspect Kurva Naresh alias Potti Naresh (29), a resident of Mahabubnagar, had stolen a bike from the parking lot of Osmania Hospital at Afzalgunj on November 11. Following a complaint, the police registered a case and a special team tracked down Naresh.
“On interrogation, Naresh admitted to having stolen five motorcycles – 4 from Afzalgunj and one in Mahabubnagar. He was previously involved in similar cases,” said Afzalgunj SHO N Ravi.
The police produced him before the court and remanded him.
