Hyderabad: An Indian Air Force staffer at the Hakimpet Air Force Station was booked on charges of sexually harassing a woman colleague here on Tuesday.

Sources said the suspect, SK Sharma from the technical wing, had recently promised to arrange for a job for the victim’s daughter. Last week, in the guise of applying for the job, he called her to his cabin and allegedly misbehaved with her.

Following a complaint, the Alwal police booked a case and have taken up investigation. Officials said further action would be initiated based on evidence.
