Hyderabad airport earns ACI Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation Level 2

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has received the ACI Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation – Level 2 from Airports Council International World, recognising its efforts to improve accessibility and enhance travel experiences for passengers with reduced mobility through inclusive airport infrastructure and services.

Hyderabad: GMR Aero led consortium-GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL) on Friday announced that Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has been awarded the ACI Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation – Level 2 by Airports Council International (ACI) World.

This milestone underscores RGIA’s journey towards commitment to accessibility for Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM), reflecting the continued efforts to deliver an inclusive, seamless, and dignified travel experience for all, a press release said.


Kadhir Kadhiravan, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited said, “We remain committed to advancing further within the ACI Accessibility framework and setting new benchmarks in inclusive airport experiences.”
