Hyderabad airport: YouTuber Nandana detained over alleged UK job fraud
Popular YouTuber and NRI A Rama Nandana was detained at Hyderabad’s RGIA after Andhra Pradesh police issued a lookout circular against her. She and her husband are accused of allegedly collecting money from people by promising jobs and sponsorships in London.

Hyderabad: Popular YouTuber and NRI, A Rama Nandana, also known by her channel ‘Nandu’s World’, was detained by the immigration authorities at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Monday, Shamshabad, following the issuance of a lookout notice against her by the Andhra Pradesh police.
Nandana, along with her husband J Madhukar, is accused of allegedly collecting large sums of money from several people by promising to arrange jobs and sponsorships at London in the United Kingdom.
The couple originally from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh allegedly targeted unemployed persons with assurances of securing high paying jobs abroad.
According to police, multiple cases have been registered in connection with the alleged fraud in Ibrahimpatnam in Andhra Pradesh and other areas.
A lookout circular was issued against Nandana, following which airport authorities and police identified and detained her when she arrived at the airport.
After being detained at RGIA, Nandana is expected to be handed over to Ibrahimpatnam police for further investigation and legal proceedings in Andhra Pradesh.
Police are probing the allegations against Nandana and her husband, including the amount of money allegedly collected from victims and the extent of the alleged overseas job fraud.
Police are expected to take further action based on the cases registered against her and the lookout circular.
