Hyderabad: Apollo Cancer Centre hosts bike rally to raise awareness on prostate cancer
Apollo Cancer Centre (ACC) Hyderabad, in association with The Bikerni Club, organized the “Be the Best You” bike rally on Men’s Cancer Month to create awareness on prostate cancer and encourage men to take preventive steps for better health.

Hyderabad: Apollo Cancer Centre (ACC) Hyderabad, in association with The Bikerni Club, organized the “Be the Best You” bike rally on Men’s Cancer Month to create awareness on prostate cancer and encourage men to take preventive steps for better health.
The event saw a remarkable turnout of enthusiastic participants and healthcare professionals, all united to promote early detection and treatment options for prostate cancer, which is a leading cancer affecting men globally.
Prostate cancer is the 4th most common cancer worldwide. It is the 2nd most common cancer in men. According to the World Cancer Research Fund International, there were 1,467,854 new cases of prostate cancer in 2022. India is amongst the 10 countries with the highest rates of prostate cancer.
The rally was flagged off by Dr. Sanjai Kumar Addla, Senior Consultant – Uro Oncology, ACC from Telangana Tourism Bhavan, Begumpet, with over 200 participants making their way to the final stop at Apollo Medical College, Jubilee Hills.
