Hyderabad: Army Boys Sports Company selections from April 20
Physical and technical skill tests will be a part of the selection trial, which will be conducted by the coaches and board of officers of Sports Authority of India
Hyderabad: Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) Centre, Secunderabad will be conducting an open induction rally for sports cadets in Boys Sports Company between April 20 and 24 in weightlifting discipline. Physical and technical skill tests will be a part of the selection trial, which will be conducted by the coaches and board of officers of Sports Authority of India. The selection will be provisional until approved by the authorities.
The candidates applying should have passed standard V, and should know Hindi language. For candidates who are 11 years old, minimum height and weight is not applicable whereas, 12-year-old candidates should be 153 cm tall and weigh 35 kg, 13-year-old candidates should be 155 cm tall and weigh 42 kg and 14-year-old candidates should be 160 cm tall and weigh 47 kg.
The medical test for the candidates will be ascertained by a medical officer of the AOC Centre and specialist of Army Sports Medicine Centre.
The applicants should not have any type of permanent tattoo on any part of the body and eligible candidates should report at Ordnance Hall, Wellington road, AOC Centre, Secunderabad by 7 am on April 20. They will have to produce an RT-PCR/Rapid Antigen Negative report when they report for the rally. Everyone is advised to carry a mask, gloves, sanitizer.
