Hyderabad: Army Public School (APS), Bolarum conducted two productive seminars for teachers.
The first session ‘Developing Scientific Temper At Primary Level’ stressed on the need to develop amongst learners an attitude that involves application of the mind, logical analysis, willingness to meet with new facts and evidence without preconceived notions, and willingness to question conclusions based on newer evidence. The session also highlighted different learning activities which APS Bolarum inculcates in its curriculum every year under the regulation of Smitha Govind, Principal APS Bolarum.
The second session ‘National Digital Library of India (NDLI)’ is a free source providing access to educational content that has been collated from numerous national and international sources. The session commenced with lighting of the lamp to commemorate the school’s inclusion in the NDLI Club.
APS Bolarum is the first Army Public School to be a part of NDLI which is a single-window platform to make education available to anyone and everyone. The focus of the session was to train teachers who would encourage learners to connect with the NDLI club and be exposed to a world of infinite knowledge.
