Hyderabad: Auto-rickshaw driver killed in Rajendranagar road accident

A 27-year-old auto-rickshaw driver from Miyapur died after his vehicle collided with a car on the Himayatsagar service road in Rajendranagar. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and later succumbed while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old auto-rickshaw driver died in a road accident at Rajendranagar on Monday morning.

According to the police, the victim, Shaik Masood, a resident of Miyapur, was travelling in his auto-rickshaw from Rajendranagar towards Kondapur to drop passengers.

“On reaching the Himayatsagar service road, the auto-rickshaw collided with a car at high speed. Masood suffered injuries and was rushed to a private hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment,” said the police.

A case has been registered.
