Hyderabad: For those wanting to use clean energy at home, Hyderabad-based Archimedes Green Energys announced a rooftop wind turbine.

Company CEO Gajjala Suryaprakash said it set up manufacturing unit in two acres of land at Medchal. The turbine can be fixed on top of the apartments and in fields. The wind mills, made with composite materials, will be available in 36 kg and 112 kg variants. At speeds in the range of 22 metre per second, the wind turbine, whose price is yet to be fixed, stops to avoid damage. It will be displayed at the two-day RENEWX-2021 that will begin on Nov 19 at Hitex.
